• MonaData Publisher Polices

    To ensure the health and fairness of the advertising ecosystem and protect the interests of advertisers and publishers, we have established the following Publisher Policy. All publishers accessing the MonaData platform must comply with these guidelines. Violation of these policies may result in limited ad display, suspension, or termination of the account.

    1. Content Policies

    1. Illegal Content

    • Information violating applicable laws and regulations.
    • Content involving fraud, malware distribution, piracy, and other illegal activities.

    2. Misleading or False Information

    • Publishing false claims or exaggerated promotional content.
    • Disseminating unverified medical, financial, political, or similar misleading information.

    3. Adult, Violent, or Hate Content

    • Explicit or sexually suggestive content.
    • Promoting violence, hatred, or discrimination through text, images, or videos.

    2. Ad Display & Leading Policies

    To ensure advertising effectiveness and user experience, publishers must adhere to the following advertising display regulations:

    1. Prohibition of Misleading Clicks

    • Publishers must not induce or force users to click on ad links.
    • Publishers must not mislabel ad links as "recommended content," "continue reading," or similar misleading text.

    2. Pop-up Ad Links

    • Pop-up MonaData's ad links without user consent are prohibited.

    3. Traffic Source Policies

    1. Valid Traffic Sources

    • Publishers must ensure website/app traffic comes from genuine user visits.
    • Generating fraudulent traffic through bots or deceptive redirects is prohibited.

    2. Prohibition of Purchased Traffic

    • Purchasing low-quality traffic in bulk from untrusted platforms is prohibited.
    • Traffic exchange services must not be used.

    4. User Data and Privacy

    MonaData requires all publishers to:

    • Comply with relevant data protection laws and regulations. (e.g., GDPR)
    • Clearly inform users about third-party ad tracking and cookie usage.
    • Provide a privacy policy page allowing users to view and manage their data usage permissions.

    5. Sensitive Events

    "Sensitive events" refer to sudden or unexpected incidents that may significantly impact society, culture, or politics, such as:

    • Civil emergencies
    • Natural disasters
    • Public health emergencies
    • Terrorism and related activities
    • Conflicts
    • Large-scale violent actions

    During sensitive events, MonaData may not provide high-quality, relevant information or effectively prevent insensitive or opportunistic content from appearing.

    Therefore, we may take the following actions to mitigate these risks:

    • Prohibiting content that exploits sensitive events, such as price gouging or selling scarce resources.
    • Prohibiting the use of sensitive event-related keywords to drive traffic.
    • Prohibiting content blaming victims or similar insensitive material.

    6. Platform Account Conduct Policies

    • A publisher may not register multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans.
    • Publishers must provide authentic and verifiable identity and contact information.
    • Publishers should regularly review site content updates and availability.

    7. Violation Handling Mechanism

    1. General Violation:

    • Ad display suspended, reassessment required; suspension of all unsettled payments, and MonaData reserves the right to recover platform-related losses, if there is any violation of false information or misleading clicks.

    2. Severe Violation:

    • Immediate account ban and termination of cooperation, suspension of all unsettled payments, and MonaData reserves the right to recover platform-related losses, if there is any fake traffic, serious legal violations.

    8. Appeals and Feedback

    Publishers disputing violation handling results may submit an appeal through:

    • Appeal Submission: website information, description of the issue, proof of rectification

    MonaData will process appeals within 20 working days. MonaData reserves the right not to respond to appeals that are not accepted.

    9. API Usage Guidelines

    MonaData offers multiple API services, including Ads API, Reporting API, and Marketing API, to facilitate efficient platform integration. Publishers must follow these guidelines when using MonaData APIs:

    1. Authorization and Authentication

    • API requests must use authorized Access Tokens or API Keys without bypassing authentication.
    • Publishers may only access their data with their credentials.

    2. Data Access and Permissions

    • Only access authorized resources and data.
    • Scanning or enumerating data belonging to other publishers is prohibited.

    3. Request Frequency and Load Management

    • APIs have rate limits; requests for higher limits require prior approval.
    • Large data retrievals should use pagination or batch processing.
    • Malicious polling or overload-inducing behaviors are prohibited.

    4. API Stability and Change Notices

    • MonaData may upgrade or modify API versions, fields, or permission policies at any time.
    • Follow official SDKs and documentation, and stay updated with announcements.

    5. Data Usage

    • Data accessed via APIs should only be used for business analysis and optimization related to MonaData advertising.
    • Reselling or redistributing data, or creating competitive products, is prohibited.

    6. Prohibited Activities

    • Illegal scraping or handling of user data.
    • Simulating fake ad requests or clicks.
    • Creating fake traffic reports through Reporting API.
    • Automating creation or modification of ads to bypass manual reviews.

    7. Termination of API Access

    • MonaData can suspend API access if violations occur.
    • Severe violations may lead to permanent bans and legal consequences.

    10. Additional Notes

    • This policy will be regularly updated based on industry regulations and platform developments. Publishers must keep track of the latest version.
    • Use of MonaData constitutes agreement to this policy.
